When Sahara Tent opened its doors in 2001, it made history in Kuala Lumpur’s culinary landscape by becoming the first fine diner to offer authentic Arabian cuisine. Playing the role of Arabia’s Food Ambassador to the hilt, we have served royalty, government heads and entertained celebrities.
Evoking the olden days of the desert dwelling Bedouins with large colourful tents and ethnic Arabian décor, Sahara Tent relives the memories of a nomadic race, their traditions and the wonderful feasts they held to celebrate all of life’s triumphs.

Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle, diners can dine in private within our curtained booths which comfortably seats four. Otherwise, an upstairs balcony which offers indoor and open air dining affords a good street view of the busiest shopping hub in Kuala Lumpur. We also offer midnight suppers, featuring a full menu from soups to desserts.

Tucked within the bustling shopping center of Plaza Shah Alam, the cosy atmosphere offers two private dining areas, each capable of holding up to a party of 10. Let our service staff pamper you with true Arabian style hospitality amidst an authentic setting. Diners may opt to dine within the cool indoors or engage in a spot of people watching on a breezy balcony.
